Profile of Graduate Programs in Knowledge Management in Brazil and its panorama of scientific production

The Knowledge Management (KM) has gained space as a topic of relevant research in the various sciences. Thus, KM focused on scientific production has been responsible for disseminating knowledge and support for the scientific development of a country. The objective of this research is to present the profile of the Graduate Programs (master's and doctorate) in the area of Knowledge Management existing in Brazil, as well as present the panorama of its scientific production. As a research method, the quantitative approach it used through bibliographical, bibliometric and documentary research, based on the data collected in the following Brazilian databases, ‘Plataforma Sucupira’ and Qualis Periodic CAPES of the Ministry of Education. As a result, 23 Graduate Programs is identified it in 21 different higher education institutions, which present 38 research lines related to the KM topic. Also observed it that eight of the 49 evaluation areas of CAPES have programs focused on KM, with emphasis on the 'Interdisciplinary' and 'Communication and Information' areas. An average of 41.8 publications of articles in periodicals per program and per year were analyzed, with an average of 0.35 of articles published by professor in periodicals with ‘Qualis A’ (highest).
