Abstract

The article aims to present the theoretical foundations that led to the stimulation and formatting of school curricula. For that, it is necessary to present the preambles of the school curriculum, to point out the aspects that involve its development and if the context is considered at the time of its formulation. For this purpose, we will approach the theme from a qualitative point of view, using the bibliographic method. As a result, it was revealed that the process of preparing school curricula considers the theoretical assumptions, the desires and expectations of people in society and uses more than one pedagogical chain for this.
