Os modelos europeu e norte-americano de ensino da comunicação, numa visão comparativa

Abstract

The teaching of communication in Brazil has been influenced by European and North American patterns among others. However, they have been conceived with different objectives: in the first case to provide the public and scholars with information about the media; and in the American schools, to major students in the area. Such differences afford a rich interchange between Communication Schools in Brazil and those on both sides of the Atlantic trying to share a synthesis of mutual experiences.
