Sobre a prova da existência de Deus em Anselmo

Abstract

This text intends to present a few themes about proof for the existence of God in St. Anselm's “Proslogion”. Firstly it seeks to characterize one of the aspects of the intellectual situation in the Eleventh Century, that is, Roscelin and Anselm's dispute over the problem of universals, important to situate Doctor Magnificus’ realism. It is followed by a summary of the proof for the existence of God in the Monologion, and by the ontological argument as well.
