Abstract

he Teaching of Literature - It deals with a concise vision about the teaching of literature from the initial question: “why to teach literature?” The authoress shows the need to form and not only to inform the pupils. Next she analyzes what must be taught and later she presents some didactic models that can be applied above all at a college course. She concludes that in a future time the simple transmission of knowledge will be of secondary importance. It will be necessary the use of methods that lead the pupils to a permanent education, to the elaboration of creative solutions to arising problems, to the work in groups, essential to our time and to the development of autor-criticism which will offer an intellectual growth.
