Os ideais da Revolução de 1842
Abstract
The author inserts the Liberal Revolution into the international scenery, and summarizes this movement, concentrating on the participation of Teófilo Otoni, a leader of Minas that he exalts. He recalls especially the military activities which took place in Santa Luzia. He emphacizes the importance of the revolutionary process and the envolvement of towns in Minas by pointing out their real dimension at the time. He lists the different causes which led to the breaking out of the movement, and ends up masterly with questions that lead to thinking.
