Reflexões em torno do papel do professor no processo ensino-aprendizagem
Abstract
Reflexions about the Teacher's Role in the Teaching-Learning Process. - At a time when pedagogues and social scientists question about the authenticity of school education, it is necessary to review the function of the school, the teaching systems and, consequently, the teacher’s function. The teaching systems should promote the decentralization so that the pupil, the main character of the teaching-learning process, could be better supported. On the other hand, besides some making decisions concerning the educational aims, pupils’ parents, students and society in a general way expect from the teacher not only an instructional and social leading performance, but even more communication, research, mental hygienics and an example of moral behavior as well. This way the school might have the possibility to strengthen fellowship and conceive humanization conditions.
