Abstract

This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the reproduction of masculinity and patriarchy in the ministries of shepherdess in the pentecostal and neopentecostal scenario, with their digital influences in a pseudo empowerment as a reflection of a proposal for a religious market. Therefore, we present aspects of the pentecostal and neopentecostal movement and highlight the relevance of women in the Neopentecostal Movement in Brazil.

Author Biographies

Marcos Camilo de Santana, UNIP

Marcos Camilo de Santana - Married to Professor Gisele and father of two daughters.
With his interdisciplinary training, starting with Musicality, especially with the electric bass,
he graduated in Music Therapy, then in Social Communication in addition to a degree in History and a Bachelor of Theology from FATIPI - Faculty of Theology of São Paulo of the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil. Specialist in Business Management from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and with an MBA in Marketing from PUC / SP, he holds a master's degree and a PhD in Communication from UNIP. He worked as a publicist in major media and as a university professor in communication and philosophy of religion chairs. He is an ordained minister in the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil.

Helder Bless Kanashiro, Faculdade Claretiano

Philosophy professor graduated from Unifai - Centro Universitário Assunção,
translator, lecturer, Master and Doctor in Sciences of Religion from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo.
He has extensive proficiency in the mother tongue of the biblical world, and researches the various articulations of updated studies on education, hermeneutics and exegesis.
Engaged in social projects to train populations in social exclusion. And yet, he belongs as a member of the First Independent Presbyterian Church in Carapicuíba - SP.
