Abstract

Spectacular, liquid and uninformed. Our society has been analyzed and labeled by thinkers and researchers interested in how social relations and constructs are structured. Such structures are capable of driving attention away from public themes of interest, or simply lighten the weight of our collective reality. In this article, we will reflect upon phenomena  within a social network environment, where things can be both interconnected and disconnected at amazing speed. In this context, we bring practical examples and techniques of the president's Bolsonaro speech, in order to understand how the leading authority in Brazil is key in a constant and interactive spectacle driven by hate-speech, misinformation and escalating tension.
