Abstract

The American filmmaker Woody Allen has an extensive work that originated in the sixties, which has continued until today. His work is situated within the characteristics of contemporary cinema, as it contains many of the practices of postmodern cinema. In his films, Allen presents relationships, understood in this work as dialogues, that happen in two ways, internal and external, that contribute to the enrichment of creative possibilities. From the comparative analysis of the films Play it again, Sam (1972), Casablanca (1942), directed by Michael Curtiz, Café Society (2016) and Radio Days (1987), we seek to understand some of the forms of dialogues proposed by him.
