Yoga em contextos escolares como instrumental da aprendizagem e da saúde coletiva

Yoga is an ancient body-mind practice specialized in attention awareness, stress and emotion regulation through breathing practices, body postures, relaxation and meditation. In this article, we tried to answer the question: in what state are the studies that justify the instrumental use of Yoga to improve the students' learning process? To answer it, bibliographic research was carried out, which allowed us to understand the fundamentals that point to the implementation of Yoga in school contexts. Among the results, studies were found which categorize the Yoga effects; the practice adequacy to socio-emotional learning strategies and contemplative practice programs; and the reasons that point to the use of Yoga with a view to learning and collective health.
