Journalism faces a fundamental problem in its history. On the one hand, traditional formats – printed newspapers, radio and television – work to maintain themselves in an increasingly fragmented and heterogeneous media environment; on the other hand, portals, news sites and social networks characterize a space for the democratization of information in which many voices articulate content all the time. In order to analyze this dynamic, this study provokes a reflection on the hybridization of online journalistic content, based on the relationship between concepts assumed in the field of games studies and experiences of major reports in a digital environment, which highlight the need to observe the agency and interaction as one of the elements that perform narrative immersion.
