The collaboration process between family and school as a possibility for human formation of students in school space

Abstract

This article aims to discuss how the relations between family and school are articulated and how both can help in the process of social reproduction in order to collaborate with education for human formation. The research of the bibliographic type was based on Lukács' ideas about social complexes and, on researches dedicated to the problematic family and school. In the development of the discussion it is reflected more broadly that, respecting their specificities, family and school act as social complexes responsible for the formation of human beings and, therefore, need to assume a collaborative relationship when it comes to school educational processes. However, this is not always the case. Traditionally, this relationship has been marked by tensions and omissions. The results of this research show that, assuming collaboration, family and school, dialogue and act together, respecting their limits and possibilities in the development of actions that mediate human formation.
