Abstract

This work brings analyzes and reflections on multimodal productions of different journalistic genres by 9th grade students of a municipal public school in Maceió, within a webjournalism project. The activity was carried out remotely, in 2021. 45 students, aged between 13 and 16, and 8 scholarship holders from the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation at the Federal University of Alagoas participated. The theoretical references are the BNCC and the theory of New Literacies aligned with an ethnographic teaching perspective. The possibilities of learning to write multimodal and audiovisual texts and taking a stand on themes chosen by the students themselves and their otherness are among the results that we highlight.
