Abstract

This article aims to explore the scientific productions (theses and dissertations) that address educational inclusion, the Nucleus of Assistance to People with Specific Educational Needs (Napne) and the access and permanence of the Special Education public in the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. The Catalog of Theses and Dissertations - Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) were consulted. The data were organized based on the 2009 to 2022-time frame, the theme cutout, and the definition of the sources. The results of the research show that the institutions of the Federal Network still face difficulties, such as lack of professionals, lack of accessibility and training of teachers and employees to serve the public students of Special Education. Continued research on the subject can help public authorities make decisions, correct course, propose strategies and provide the Napnes with valuable information to improve their actions, taking into account the country's different institutions.
