Abstract

This article addresses the creative process of Frans Krajcberg and seeks to identify its relationship with environmental education. To this end, a bibliographic survey was conducted, drawing on the following sources: books, academic articles, theses, dissertations, exhibition catalogs, national scientific repositories, as well as collections from museums and cultural institutions that preserve the memory of the aforementioned artist. Audiovisual records and interviews were also consulted. The results revealed intersections between Krajcberg’s work and educational and environmental aspects, which highlights that his artistic legacy can contribute to fostering debate and developing educational practices linked to environmental protection.

    I have a degree in fine arts at the Escola Panamericana de Arte de São Paulo (1990 and 2003), a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Sorocaba UNISO (1994), a degree in Mathematics from UNIBAN (2003), Specialist in Art Therapy and Psychopedagogy from the Faculdade Paulista de Arte FPA (2009), Master (2007) and Doctorate (2019) and Post Doctorate in Education by UNISO Sorocaba. Researcher on Frans Krajcberg, pedagogical practices and active methodologies. Mathematics teacher at the municipal network of Araçoiaba da Serra in primary education from 2008 to 2010. University teacher since 2011 for subjects: Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Economics, Administration, Sustainable Development, Interpretation and Text Production, Home and Society, Introduction to EAD. Teacher on the Postgraduate Course in Literacy and Literacy from 2022 to 2023. Collaborator at the Edutech21 Institute to improve proficiency in mathematics using the metaverse and games in education. Representative of CORECON-SP appointed in December 2024, as Deputy Municipal Delegate in the municipality of Sorocaba.
