Mathematical Modeling in the context of Mathematics Education has been gaining ground in practices and research at different levels of education. This achievement opens up a horizon of possibilities for investigations that lead us to reflect on numerous aspects. In this scenario, this research aims to investigate the use(s) of the expression “technology(s)” in scientific productions of an edition of the National Conference on Mathematical Modeling (CNMEM) that encompass, in some way, Teacher Training. The question that motivated this research is: How does the expression “technology(s)” reveal itself in the productions of the XI CNMEM that, in some way, encompass Teacher Training? To this end, we selected those productions that were related to Teacher Training and investigated the use of the accepted expression in them. The analysis was supported by the phenomenological movement, consisting of highlighting expressions that converge to units of meaning and advancing in the movement of convergence between them. This movement revealed the expression technology(ies) in references and nomenclatures in the production on Mathematical Modeling and, technology(ies) as one of the Trends in Mathematical Education articulated with Mathematical Modeling. In general terms, this presence in the productions indicated how technology(ies) is articulated in the thematic investigation, Mathematical Modeling from theorizations, the uses and repercussions of these uses of technology(ies) and Mathematical Modeling in the contexts of teaching and learning and research.
