Abstract

The struggle for the implementation of anti-racist pedagogical practices in Basic Education reveals the intersections between the implementation of public policy for Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations and the curriculum in historically situated contexts. Based on the results obtained from the master's research, it is proposed to contribute to the understanding of this intersection (re)constructed by pedagogical discourses in the school context. The qualitative research design explores the data collected through Narrative Interviews with the participating teachers. The results indicate that the (re)contextualized pedagogical discourse reveals the asymmetries of control and power that articulated both inside and outside the school, and its critical recontextualization can promote formative processes and pedagogical practices aligned with the principles of Anti-Racist Education.
