Abstract

This text aimed at presenting data on the execution of an outreach action proposed due to the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic. This project had, as its final product, the development of electronic (ebook) cordel booklets, thinking of them as a means of creating and sharing educational content about COVID-19. Based mainly on the concept of ecology of knowledge, the action grew from the recognition of different means of assimilation, production and diffusion of knowledge, as well as the reaffirmation of the link between learning and the creative dimension. A qualitative methodology was used, having, as a starting point, the offer of workshops as spaces of negotiation and production of meanings. Thus, cordel literature was mobilised as a tool for the critical reading of the world, while encouraging participants to recognise articulation means, creation spaces and the production of meaning.
